LEWISBURG – NorthcentralPA.com is reporting… A second person has been charged in connection with a December burglary in East Buffalo Township, where a woman allegedly broke into her grandparents’ home and stole valuables.
Police say 42-year-old Thomas Roney of Danville acted as an accomplice to 40-year-old Liana Whitmer of Northumberland. Roney allegedly entered the home with Whitmer and rode in a vehicle she stole from the scene.
Charges against Roney include burglary and conspiracy. A warrant is out for his arrest. As reported earlier, Whitmer was taken into custody in Philadelphia and extradited to Union County. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 5.
