MCCLURE — Multiple volunteer firefighters were called to a sawmill fire in Snyder County Monday afternoon. The fire started around 12:30 p.m. at a sawmill on Brooklyn Lane off of Ulsh Gap Road in West Beaver Township near McClure.
Neighbors reported hearing and explosion and then saw flames coming from the sawmill. There were no injuries reported. The owners of the sawmill are not known at this time. Volunteers from Snyder and Mifflin County were on the scene for about two hours on Monday. (Ali Stevens)
