Salvation Army Closes 2022 Here. For Good Campaign

SUNBURY –The Salvation Army said today they are extremely grateful to the community for the 2022 Here. For Good. Campaign.

A check presentation was held Monday morning; the fund raised $138, 509. 21, including online donations. This is short of the $150,000 goal.

On hand for the check presentation were Lieutenants Jared and Kirsten Starnes of the Milton Salvation Army, Major Tammy Hench of the Sunbury and Shamokin Salvation Army citadels, Mifflinburg Bank and Trust President and CEO Jeff Kapsar, Bill Bowman and Fred Scheller of The Daily Item, and Matt Catrillo of Sunbury Broadcasting.

For this year’s campaign, the Salvation Army Citadels, provided toys, food, clothing and other gifts to more than 600 families in our region.
