UPDATE: As of 10:45 a.m. Route 61 was open to traffic.
An oversized load is stuck at the Route 61 Hamilton Underpass in Sunbury. Use an alternate route. This incident was reported at 8:30 a.m. and PennDOT estimates it will be several hours before the load is cleared. A detour is in place using Black Mill Road and Snydertown Road to Route 61 at 11th Street.
