Route 147 reopens outside Sunbury after fatal pedestrian accident

SUNBURY — Route 147 has reopened outside Sunbury following a fatal crash this morning involving a pedestrian.  State police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck near Brush Valley Road around 5:45 a.m.  Coroner James Kelley says one person was killed in the accident. Route 147 was shut down between Sunbury and Brush Valley Road until 9:45 a.m.  No word yet from state police on who was involved in the accident.  We will update you on this story when we have more details.  (Ali Stevens)
