UPDATE: ROUTE 147 has reopened to all traffic
MILLERSBURG — State police confirm an accident on Route 147 in Lower Mahanoy Township is a fatal crash. The accident happened around 6 a.m. on Route 147 near the Northumberland/Dauphin County line. The road was shut down in both directions between Mahantango Creek Road and Mountain Road. One person was said to be trapped in their vehicle. We will update you when more information is available.
