SUNBURY – Two Northumberland County officials are encouraging the public to get involved in a roundtable discussion on ways to curb the increasing number of heroin overdose deaths. President Judge Charles Saylor and County Coroner James Kelley are inviting the public to attend the discussion in Courtroom One of the courthouse on Friday at 10:30 a.m.
No pre-registration is required. Members of the state legislature, the judiciary, law enforcement and county officials will be present along with drug and alcohol professionals, treatment providers and family members. All members of the public are invited to attend. (Ali Stevens)
