DANVILLE – Police are looking for a man who tried to rob the Burger King in Danville on Monday around 5 p.m., but fled without any cash. The Press Enterprise reports a worker at the restaurant noticed that the handgun used in the robbery was broken, and pointed it out to the robber.
The employee said the rail of the handgun was missing and a spring from the gun fell on the floor. The robber fled the scene on Route 11 without any money. The suspect is described as a white male, about five feet, ten inches tall. He was wearing a mask covering his face and a grey t-shirt over a blue long-sleeve shirt. (Ali Stevens)
