MONTOURSVILLE- Upcoming road work may lead to some slow-moving traffic beginning next week in Northumberland County. PennDOT says a 1.3-mile rehabilitation project on Route 254 in Northumberland County will begin on Monday, September 18.
The project will stretch from the intersection of Route 405 south in Milton Borough to the east side of the ramp to Route 147 north in Turbot Township. Road work will take place from 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, September 18, through Friday, September 22, and from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, September 25, through Friday, September 29.
Lane restrictions will be in place with flaggers directing traffic. The project is expected to be finished by late October.
