MIFFLINBURG – Mifflinburg police are investigating a road rage incident that happened Monday afternoon.
Police say it began about 3:30pm on Colonel John Kelly Road, near Forest Hill Road. The victim of the incident said he was following another car that was being driven erratically.
Then at a traffic signal in Mifflinburg, the driver of the suspect car got out of his vehicle and pointed a gun at the victim and told him to ‘back-up!’
The man holding the gun was described as middle-aged, wearing a short sleeve t-shirt and blue jeans. He was said to be under 6 feet tall, 175 to 200 pounds. Police say his speech was slurred or he had a drawn-out accent. He was also described as “having a belly.”
That suspect vehicle is described as light green, Chevrolet Cavalier or similar vehicle with a rainbow type decal on one window. The gun is described as a stainless-steel, semi-automatic handgun with black hand grips.
