LEWISBURG — A retired police corporal from the Buffalo Valley Regional Police Department has announced he will run for district judge. Malcolm Herman is running for magisterial district judge in Lewisburg, Kelly, and East Buffalo Townships.
He is challenging incumbent district judge Leo Armbruster. Herman is a registered republican and will cross-file as both a republican and democrat. He is a 1979 graduate of Lewisburg High School and a U.S. Army Veteran, serving three years with the military police.
Herman served for 30 years with the Buffalo Valley Regional Police Department and is certified by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to serve as a district judge. He is the father of two children and lives in Kelly Township with his wife Patti. (Ali Stevens)
