SHAMOKIN DAM – There are officially no more smokestacks at the former Sunbury Generation Plant. The remaining two smokestacks at the former plant were imploded Friday morning just after 9 a.m. and lasted about eight seconds. Shamokin Dam Police shut down parts of Old Trail during that time while crews clean up the wreckage. You can watch the implosion here.
