SUNBURY – Following a strong-armed robbery in broad daylight last week, Sunbury Police are now asking for the public’s help in solving the case. Sunbury Police tell us they still don’t know who robbed a woman of a money bag in the 100-block of Market Street on Wednesday.
Police say witnesses told them there was a man who chased the robber after he stole the money, but the man has not come forward. Anyone with information on that man or on a potential suspect is encouraged to contact police. Also, police want residents to be alert and careful when leaving a bank in the downtown area.
