KULPMONT — Police are looking for the man who robbed a bank in Kulpmont Tuesday morning. The robbery happened at 11:16 a.m at the BB&T bank on Chestnut Street, which is Route 61. The man claimed to have a handgun. He demanded money and told employees he was not afraid to use the weapon. Police say the man got away with almost $6,200.
The suspect is described as mid 20s to early 30s in age and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, khaki cargo pants, and sunglasses. We’ve posted a photo of the robber on our website, www.wkok.com. Anyone with information on the man’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 570-373-1522.
