Carol Handlan and (Mayor) Jeff Reed, co-founders, and co-chairs, Selinsgrove Brewfest, on the tremendous landmark event that is a major fundraiser for Selinsgrove downtown revitalization, the success of the festival over the years, but slower ticket sales lately. We’ll discuss the collaboration with Spyglass Ridge Winery (Cheryl Crow tickets and transportation for the 7/16 concert), and a unique aspect of Brewfest: At vendor stands, the owners, brewers and vintners are at the festival (no designees, part-timers, volunteers, or stand-ins). Brewfest is approaching the ¾ million dollars raised since its inception 14-years ago.
