DANVILLE—April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Geisinger staff and volunteers will be “planting” pinwheels for prevention. More than 500 pinwheels will be planted between Geisinger Medical Center, Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital, and Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital.
Each pinwheel that is planted was sponsored for $5 benefitting the Child Advocacy Center of the Central Susquehanna Valley. (Sarah Benek)
