HARRISBURG – Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate was down .8 percentage points in November, with unemployment now at 6.6 percent. Pennsylvania’s rate fell below the national rate of 6.7 percent unemployment.
Over the past seven months, Pennsylvania has recovered 57.7 percent of the total nonfarm jobs lost in March and April. The commonwealth’s unemployment rate is 2 percentage points above its November 2019 level.
