BLOSSBURG – A PennDOT worker injured in a four-car crash last week is improving. Andrew Puhlick is now listed in stable condition at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. He was the driver of a vehicle that was hit from behind by in a chain-reaction crash on Route 15 southbound in Tioga County last Wednesday.
Puhlick and his passenger, Harold Whipple are both employees in PennDOT District 3-0. Whipple is still in critical condition after the crash. A Turbotville man, 39-year-old Michael McCollum was killed when his car was hit by a tractor trailer that failed to slow for stopped traffic on the roadway. McCollum, Whipple and Puhlick were all taken to the hospital by Life Flight. State police say the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
