DANVILLE — A deadly intersection in Montour County is the subject of a traffic study. PennDOT is taking a hard look at the safety of the Route 54 corridor, specifically the intersection of Route 54 and Route 642.
As part of the study, PennDOT wants input from the public. They are holding a meeting August 25 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Danville First Baptist Church, to collect input from people who live, work or regularly travel the corridor.
Route 54 sees approximately 22,000 vehicles each day and is a key connection between Interstate 80 and Danville. (Jennifer Wakeman)
