HARRISBURG – The latest winter storm could cause travel headaches across the commonwealth Monday night. PennDOT says snow, ice and rain are expected to cause icing conditions in many areas overnight.
PennDOT Secretary Leslie Richards says motorists should consider postponing any unnecessary trips due to the potential for hazardous travel.
The AccuWeather forecast says snow will begin this afternoon and continue into the evening before changing over to sleet or freezing rain. Snow could accumulate two to four inches before the changeover occurs.
