SELINSGROVE – A two-medal winner at the U.S. Special Olympics will be honored with a parade on Saturday in Selinsgrove. Amanda Swazey of Selinsgrove recently traveled to California to compete in dressage and equestrian and won a gold and a silver medal.
A parade in her honor will begin at the Selinsgrove Commons and proceed down Pine and Broad Streets and end at Weis Markets, where Amanda works. The public is encouraged to attend and congratulate Amanda Swazey on her accomplishments. (Ali Stevens)
