HARRISBURG – Pennsylvania gasoline prices are going back up again despite the national average price at the pump going down a third straight week.
Gasbuddy.com reported Monday state gas prices are up 6.9 cents per gallon in the past week, now averaging $3.98 per gallon. Gasbuddy says that’s due to a ‘tight’ supply across the northeast. Gasbuddy says that is expected to bring ‘some challenges’ that lie ahead.
Nationally, prices at the pump declined 4.7 cents per gallon, now averaging $3.72 per gallon. The national average price of diesel also declined in the last seven days by 2.39 cents per gallon, and now stands at $5.28 per gallon.
