Gas Prices Rise in PA
PA Gas Prices Exceed National Average
HARRISBURG – Tensions in Russia and Ukraine are now starting to affect gasoline prices here at home. According to Gasbuddy, the average price per gallon has risen nationwide.
Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy, attributes the climb in prices to the high tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
GasBuddy says Pennsylvania gas prices have risen 4.0 cents per gallon in the past week, and are averaging $3.72 per gallon statewide. Gas prices in Pennsylvania are about 21 cents per gallon higher than a month ago, and about 82 cents per gallon higher than in 2021.
GasBuddy reports, all over the United States, citizens have seen their average price per gallon rise 3.0 cents just this past week.
