94KX opens opportunity to donate items to Harvey relief

WATSONTOWN — A local congregation is helping with the Hurricane Harvey relief effort by collecting food and household items for the victims in Texas and Louisiana. 94KX’s Drew Kelly is broadcasting from the Revival Tabernacle Church in Watsontown all day Thursday to get the word out about items needed in Texas.

Pastor James Bond says they are working with a church just outside of Houston, “We have a church down there that we are partnering with they have about 300 evacuees there, 14 dogs, and a hamster. So, we are going to take some goodies down there and help people out, take a little bit of hope with us from central Pennsylvania.”

 

If you wish to donate items you can bring them to the Revival Tabernacle at 960 Susquehanna Trail in Watsontown today from 6am to 9pm or Friday from 9am- 9pm. Pastor Bond is asking members of the church to bring at least a case of water along with other supplies.
