MONTOUR COUNTY — One person was sent to hospital after a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 80 in Valley Township, Montour County. The accident occurred just before 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Milton State Police say 53-year old Jerry Delmar of Oklahoma was traveling on I-80 west in the right lane, when he drove his truck off the road and struck a guardrail. The tractor-trailer then went down an embankment.
A passenger was transported to Geisinger Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Troopers say Delmar was wearing a seat belt, but the passenger was not. (Matt Catrillo)
