SELINSGROVE – State police have released details about a crash that tied up traffic for a time on Friday along Routes 11 and 15. The crash happened around 10:20 a.m. on Routes 11 and 15 at Commerce Avenue in Monroe Township.
Troopers say 20-year-old Jacob Snyder was speeding northbound and struck the rear of a vehicle turning left, driven by 62-year-old Jill Walter. Walter’s vehicle was forced into two parked cars, causing damage to both.
Walter was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, where she was treated and released. Snyder was not injured and will be cited for causing the accident. (Ali Stevens)
