NORTHUMBERLAND – PennDOT says part of Northumberland’s roadwork projects are about to go 24/7. A water line replacement project on Front Street will continue day and night starting Tuesday. The intensive work will be focused on one block of Front Street, between Orange and King Streets.
The night work will begin at 6pm Tuesday and continue for about three weeks. During the ramped up work, parking will restricted. One lane of Route 11 southbound traffic will be maintained during the work.
This water line replacement project is part of the $13 million Duke Street, Front Street and Water Street road rebuilding projects in Northumberland. As part of the project, a detour on Duke Street, a truck detour and other utility work are all underway.
