NORTHUMBERLAND — A new name and a fresh look have arrived, as Northumberland National Bank and Mifflinburg Bank and Trust, are now officially merged. The banks are called Central Penn Bank & Trust, or CPBT.
Bank leaders say customers go to all of their existing bank branches, or www.centralpennbank.com for services. They say account numbers, login credentials, and familiar staff all remain unchanged.
The new name was chosen from more than 100 staff suggestions, with staffers Alisha Buck and Chase Salter submitting the winning idea. The banks say while the name is new, their commitment to customers and the community remains the same.
