Northumberland declares snow emergency

NORTUMBERLAND—The Borough of Northumberland has declared a snow emergency. The police department has placed no parking signs on the meters in the downtown area so that snow can be removed in a timely manner. Once the snow begins residents are asked to move their vehicles from the metered area. The no parking ordinance will be enforced on Tuesday.
