SUNBURY – New Northumberland County officials were sworn in Monday. New commissioners Kymberely Best and Sam Schiccatano and new district attorney Tony Matulewicz were among the ten who took the oath of office.
Matulewicz says he hopes to draw on his experience to change the DA’s office. “I’ve worked here before there is a lot of changes I want to make. I’m going to implement them in an orderly fashion. And I’m anxious to get to work with everybody and see exactly what the case load statistics are.”
The new DA’s main focus is on making the office run better. “My number one goal is to get more efficient. That way we will have more time to work on trials and bigger issues.”
