Northumberland adopts budget without a tax increase

Northumberland

NORTHUMBERLAND – No new taxes for the Northumberland Borough after they adopted their budget on Tuesday night.  The $2.8-million budget for 2016 does not include an increase in taxes.

Only Councilman Harry Wynn voted against the budget, with the other six members voting yes.  This is the fourth year in a row that Northumberland Borough Council has passed a budget without a tax increase.
