MONTOURSVILLE – PennDOT says they’ll be doing some night work in Northumberland starting this Sunday. The department is trying to find the location and depth of all of the utilities on Duke, King, and Water Streets, and they’ll do the work during the overnight hours.
Most of the work will be performed between 10 p.m and 2 a.m. Daytime work, already underway, will continue as scheduled. There will be lane closures and flaggers controlling traffic.
PennDOT Says there will be unrestricted traffic from 6 a.m to 9 a.m and 3 p.m to 6 p.m Monday through Friday. There will be no work restrictions on Saturdays and Sundays. This work is expected to be completed in early September. (Alex Reichenbach)
