NORTHUMBERLAND – Snyder Union Northumberland Habitat for Humanity is celebrating the completion of their newest home in Northumberland. The home is located at 247 Ninth Street and a dedication ceremony is set for Saturday at 9 a.m.
SUN Habitat partnered with Susquehanna University and Bucknell University to renovate the home. The home will go to the Lenker family, who has also worked multiple hours on the home, which is required of all families receiving a home from Habitat for Humanity. Since its founding in 1994 Sun Habitat has helped more than 20 families by building new homes and rehabilitating homes in Snyder, Union and Northumberland Counties. (Ali Stevens)
