SUNBURY – A community activist has announced her candidacy for Shikellamy School Board. Victoria Rosancrans said she is a 1991 graduate of the district and the Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center, she works in mental and behavioral health nursing.
Rosancrans emphasized her commitment to improving education and preparing students for success in a fast-paced world. She identified three priorities: engaging with the community, fostering a safe environment for students and teachers, and responsibly managing school spending.
Rosancrans advocates for more transparency, such as live-streaming meetings, and including diverse community voices in decision-making.
