SUNBURY – The Needy Family Fund continues to grow after reaching its goal of $75,000. The fund total is now $ 101,985.67. Additional donations were made in memory of Carson Moyer, in honor of friends of Sun-Re and in memory of Earl Naugle and Braddon Hackenburg.
The Degenstein Challenge grant pushed the fund about $100,000…that grant kicked in when the fund hit its goal of $75,000. The Needy Family Fund supports more than 500 families this holiday season. It is sponsored by the Daily Item, Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation and BB&T. (Jennifer Wakeman)
