SUNBURY – A Mount Carmel man has been sentenced to eight to 20-years in state prison for sexually assaulting four women in 2012. 32-year-old Barry Adams Jr. entered a guilty plea minutes before a two-day jury trial was set to begin in Northumberland County Court.
Adams pleaded guilty to raping a Danville woman and an Ashland woman in 2012. He was also charged with sexually assaulting an Ashland woman and an Elysburg woman. Police say Adams put pills in the women’s drinks at local bars and then took them to his home and sexually assaulted them. (Ali Stevens)
