SUNBURY — Raise the Region was a huge success, with more than $1 million donated for local non profit organizations. The grand total was $1,170,415, with 6,864 individual donations made–both are records.
During Raise the Region, people could donate to over 260 nonprofit organizations in Snyder, Union, Northumerland, Montour, Columbia and Lycoming Counties. Sponsor Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships contributed $150,000 in stretching funds, which helped boost each donation made.
