DANVILLE — Families and first responders will come together in about one month. Montour Night Out is Wednesday, June 11. Montour Night Out will run from 5pm to 7pm at Danville Middle School on Route 11. Organizers say the goal is to strengthen community ties while giving residents a chance to meet emergency service providers.
Attendees can check out emergency vehicles—including helicopters—and see live demonstrations, including a jaws-of-life rescue by local firefighters.
Mahoning Township Police Chief Fred Dyroff says families can enjoy free hot dogs, ice cream, and educational giveaways. No registration is needed. Just show up, bring questions, and enjoy the evening. For more details, contact Chief Dyroff at 570-275-5611.
