SHAMOKIN — Published reports say there were no signs of homicide or trauma after an autopsy was conducted on a 6-month-old child. That’s the word from Montour County coroner Scott Lynn after an autopsy.
The News Item reports that Shamokin police arrested 38-year-old Krystal Semerod, of Sunbury after a Geisinger doctor said tests confirmed the baby had shaken baby syndrome.
Further findings are pending but the coroner said there are no signs of homicide or trauma.
