WILLIAMSPORT—The teams that will play in next year’s Little League Classic in Williamsport have been announced. The Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Mets will take to Historic Bowman Field August 19, 2018 for the second annual MLB Little League Classic.
The league and the Major League Baseball Players Association made the announcement Friday. The Pirates and the Cardinals played in the first classic this past summer. The MLB Little League Classic gave a chance for little leaguers and their families to meet Major League players.
