HARRISBURG — Boxing legend Mike Tyson brought the fight for cannabis legalization to the Pennsylvania Capitol , meeting with state lawmakers to push for recreational use.
Tyson says legalizing cannabis would create hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs while ensuring safer, regulated products. He told reporters cannabis helped him quit other drugs and said he planned to meet with Governor Josh Shapiro later in the day.
Tyson and his team also met with Senate President Pro Tempore Kim Ward, who expressed openness but caution about expanding beyond the state’s medical marijuana program.
