MIFFLINBURG – A 35-year-old Mifflinburg woman is accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl. Charity Sampsell has been charged with statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and other charges.
Court records state Sampsell had sex with the girl on a number of occasions, beginning in the summer of 2014 and continuing through this month. Sampsell was arrested and arraigned before District Judge Jeffrey Mensch. She was released on $50,000 bail and awaits a court hearing. (Ali Stevens)
