Mifflinburg Man Sentenced for Child Rape

MIFFLINBURG – A Mifflinburg man was sentenced for raping a four year old child.  The Daily Item reports 26-year-old Steven Felipe Delgado Javier was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in state prison on Wednesday. Javier was convicted by a jury in September on two felony counts of rape of a child and aggravated indecent assault.  Police say Javier assaulted the 4-year-old girl starting in February of 2021 at a home in West Buffalo Township.  The victim verified the incidents to police.
