Mifflinburg Girl Dies After ‘Freak Accident’

MIFFLINBURG – A young Mifflinburg area girl has died following what’s being described as a ‘freak accident.’

According to social media posts from Buffalo Community Church and the Mifflinburg Wildcat Football program, Joslyn Flickinger died Tuesday morning from brain damage following the accident over the weekend while playing with her friends.

A community prayer vigil was held Sunday night for Joslyn’s recovery.

According to social media posts, Joslyn leaves behind her parents and three sisters.

Posts say the family is grateful for all who have prayed for Joslyn and her family and are asking for continued prayers of strength and peace.

A donation link has been set up by the Buffalo Community Church and that information is posted below.
