MIDDLEBURG — A man in Snyder County is facing misdemeanor charges after police say he hit a woman over the head with a loaded rifle. State police say 75-year-old Terry Shambach of Middleburg is accused of multiple charges of reckless endangerment after the incident last Saturday.
Troopers say an argument was underway when Shambach struck the victim across the head with the loaded rifle. The state Game Commission assisted, and the charges were sent to magistrate court.
