MIDDLEBURG – The man who held up a Snyder County bank last week is accused of robbing a bank in Georgia just two days later. 35-year-old Gregory Null of Washington County fled to Georgia after using a handgun in a robbery at the Swineford National Bank in Middleburg June 13.
Pennlive.com reports Null has been charged with holding up a Sun Trust Bank in Jessup, Georgia June 15. A teller at the bank told investigators a man with a gun said, “Give me the 100s and 20s or I will shoot you. Don’t tell anybody or I will come back and shoot you.”
Null escaped with more than $2,100. He was arrested Friday when authorities found he was being treated at a hospital in Winder, Georgia for a burn on his leg. Null is being held in the Wayne County Jail without bail on charges of armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and aggravated assault.
