LEWISBURG – One of the nation’s most outspoken advocates on climate climate will be coming to Lewisburg. Michael Mann, the man behind the “hockey stick graph” related to climate change, will speak at Bucknell University Wednesday.
Mann is a professor of Meteorology and Director of the Earth System Science Center at Penn State University, who has worked for nearly two decades to improve the understanding of the global climate.
He was part of the team that published a study including the “hockey stick” graph. The graph became the center of a media firestorm over global warming. Mann will speak at the Elaine Langone Center on the Bucknell campus Wednesday at 7:00p.m. It is free to the public. (Sara Bartlett)
