Candidate Meuser says his private sector experience gives him edge

SUNBURY—Dan Meuser believes his twenty-five years of experience in the private sector is what the people of the 11th District need in a US Congressman. Meuser is making his way across the 11th district getting the word out about his campaign.

Meuser, of Shavertown, Pa., was at the Northumberland County Courthouse in Sunbury Friday morning to meet the public saying, “I see what’s going on in Washington, we need people in Washington that will be part of the agenda of moving things forward not backwards.”

Meuser is a businessman from Luzerne County and is a former Revenue Secretary under Governor Tom Corbett. Meuser says he will a conservative voice in Washington, “I am a believer in what I will call the America first agenda. We need more competitive tax rates, we need regulatory reform, we need border security, but just to focus on the economic side of things, we need to make America and the 11th district as competitive as possible.”

Meuser is running for Lou Barletta’s(R-11th, Hazelton) soon to be vacant seat for Pennsylvania’s 11th District in congress.  Meuser says he will be traveling to each County in the 11th district over the next two weeks.
