WASHINGTON D.C. – Valley U.S. Congressman Dan Meuser (R-9th, Dallas, Pa.) says Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is a ‘significant’ Republican leader, but has not decided who he’ll endorse for the 2024 Presidential race.
CBS News says DeSantis held an informal policy discussion with GOP lawmakers in Washington Tuesday night, and US Congressman Meuser was there.
CBS News says DeSantis offered brief remarks about his successes in Florida and his legislative agenda, before chatting one-on-one with lawmakers.
The Florida governor is still contemplating a run for President in 2024, and has not yet made a formal announcement. Some of the GOP leaders in Washington, and Florida are endorsing former President Donald Trump, for reelection.
