SHAMOKIN DAM – More drug charges are filed against the Snyder County couple who are already accused of operating a meth lab in Middleburg. The new charges against the two include operating a meth lab at a Shamokin Dam Motel.
Shamokin Dam Police say they discovered the lab at the Golden Arrow Motel February 12. Charles Hanson of Selinsgrove and Savannah Goodling of Middleburg are facing six felony and two misdemeanor charges for their involvement.
Both have been charged with conspiracy after a search of the motel turned up items used to create a “one pot” meth lab. A forensic lab report from the Pennsylvania State Police Forensic Regional Laboratory in Harrisburg revealed the materials found with the search warrant had a combined weight of 610.85 grams of meth.
A hearing date has not been scheduled. The charges were filed by District Judge John Reed. The two were charged last week with operating a meth lab at a Middleburg home. (Alex Reichenbach)
